1,131 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Batken

Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2022. / Kabar /. Currently, a total of 1,131 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered to Batken Oblast, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgystan reported.

Of these, the ministry delivered 166 tons, and 792 tons were delivered by citizens on their own. There are 172 tons of humanitarian aid in the warehouse.

There are 184 collection points for humanitarian aid throughout the republic.

On September 14-17, Tajikistan showed armed aggression by attacking the Kyrgyz border outposts and villages of Batken and Chon-Alai regions in order to seize the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of a perfidious planned military invasion by the armed forces of Tajikistan, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, 59 people were killed, including military personnel and civilians, including children; wounded - 198.
