Bishkek, July 18, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 18, another 1,141 coronavirus patients have recovered in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said.
In total 4,495 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 2,742 people citizens who receiving treatment at home have also cured.
On Thursday the country's Health Ministry took a decision on unified approach in treating COVID-19.
Thus, according to the newly adopted document, the country started to unite statistics of COVID-19 (U07.1 confirmed by laboratory) and community-acquired pneumonia (U07.2 -confirmed non-laboratory but manifests clinically).
Kyrgyzstan on Saturday reported 1,264 new COVID-19 (U07.1 and U07.2) cases, raising the total number of infections to 25,047.
Meanwhile, 4,345 people remained hospitalized, 70 patients are in intensive care.
The death toll reached 858 after 73 more fatalities were added.
