10,830 people in Kyrgyzstan receive coronavirus vaccine

Bishkek, April 20, 2021. / Kabar / . In the last 24 hours, a total of 1, 255 Kyrgyzstanis have received vaccine against COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

Kyrgyzstan received 150 thousand doses of the Sinopharm vaccine of the Chinese manufacturer Beijing Institute of Biological Product Co. Ltd on March 19 and has started vaccination campaign on March 29. The inoculation is carried out twice, with an interval of 25-28 days. No side effects have been reported after immunization with this vaccine.

The temporary vaccination centers have been deployed in all the regions of Kyrgyzstan.

75 thousand people are planned to be vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan in the first phase of vaccination with the Chinese vaccine.

The first phase of the vaccination will cover medical workers, employees of educational organizations, employees of law enforcement and security agencies.
