Bishkek, Dec. 6, 2021 . / Kabar / . 10 more legal aid centers are planned to be opened in Kyrgyzstan in the near future, Director of the Center for Coordination of State-Guaranteed Legal Aid (SGLA) Akzhol Kalbekov said Monday during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added that 34 centers are currently open across the country.
"However, we have planned to open centers in all regions of the country, in this regard, we plan to open 10 more branches in the near future," the director of the Center said.
Free legal aid centers of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan were established as part of the implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On state-guaranteed legal aid" to provide legal advice to citizens on a free-of-charge basis.
The Center for Coordination of State-Guaranteed Legal Aid coordinates the work of free legal aid centers and contributes to the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of persons in need of legal assistance, legal education of the population, the development of legal culture and legal awareness of citizens.
