100 days of Cabinet of Ministers: Roadmap developed in Kyrgyzstan to promote domestic products to Chinese market

Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2022. / Kabar /. In order to ensure food security with essential goods and prevent the rise in prices for socially significant goods, a roadmap has been developed to promote domestic products to the market of the People's Republic of China.

In addition, the Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) dated November 12, 2021 No. 116 was adopted to amend some Decisions of the Customs Union Commission in relation to certain types of meat, internal quotas were reset to zero rates of customs duties on imports of cattle meat.

Amendments have been made to some decisions of the Commission of the Customs Union regarding white sugar and raw cane sugar, as a result of which the volume of the distributed quota for the Kyrgyz Republic has been increased (Decision of the EEC Council dated December 2, 2021 No. 140).

In order to create legal conditions for e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Electronic Commerce” dated December 22, 2021 No. 154 was adopted and a draft Program for the development of e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan for 2022-2027 was developed.

The Regulations on the Procedure for Licensing the Import and Export of Arms and Military Equipment, as well as Other Military Products have been approved.

Besides, the following restrictions have been introduced:

- the export of used catalysts, slag, ash and residues of precious metals contained in catalysts from the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- temporary export of scrap and waste of ferrous metals from the Kyrgyz Republic outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union;

- temporary export of recycled paper and cardboard (waste paper and waste) from the Kyrgyz Republic outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
