Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2022. / Kabar /. As of July 1, 2022, the number of unemployed in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 100.6 thousand people, according to the document of the National Statistical Committee.
According to data of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, the number of unemployed people registered with the state employment service in search of work as of July 1, 2022 amounted to 100.6 thousand people, which is compared to the same date last year by 4.1% less, of which 75.2 thousand people are registered unemployed, or 6.5% less.
The difference between the registered and registered unemployed is made up of persons who twice refused the offered job, as well as those who did not appear within 10 calendar days from the date of their registration with the authorized state bodies.
Of the total number of registered unemployed, 44.8% were women. The registered unemployment rate in the total labor force was 2.9%.
