In Kyrgyzstan, the COVID-19 coronavirus infection has been detected in 102 children under 15 years of age, of which 5 cases in babies up to one year, Ainura Akmatova, Head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health said at a briefing at the Government House.
According to her data, all the children have been hospitalized.
“Their condition is satisfactory (asymptomatic) in most cases, light and medium. To date, 59 children have already been discharged home," Akmatova said.
As of May 1, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total to 756.
Number of patients recovered has reached 504, including 144 medical workers.
Currently, 244 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition and 5 are in ICU.
8 people have died.
