Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2021. / Kabar /. There was a mass poisoning in the village of Bek-Abad, Suzak region of Jalal-Abad Oblast, 106 people asked for medical help, 16 people were hospitalized.
The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said that according to the preliminary version, the mass poisoning occurred during a solemn event.
Presumably, the guests of the celebration and their relatives were poisoned with horse meat, which was treated at the celebration, the ministry said.
90 people out of 106 receive treatment on an outpatient basis.
Currently, appropriate measures are being taken to establish the cause of the poisoning.
