11 checkpoints in Kyrgyzstan introduce automated system

Bishkek, July 9, 2021 . / Kabar / . The automated information system "Free Post" for accounting of goods imported into the territory of Kyrgyzstan from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) operates at 11 checkpoints across Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the republic Ilyaz Imanbetov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He noted the system works at the "Chaldovar", "Ak-Tilek", "Ak-Jol", "Chon-Kapka", "Alamedin", "Kara-Balta", "Bishkek-1", "Kara-Suu" checkpoints, Osh airport, "Maymak", Manas airport.

"The "Consolidated Post" system is one of the components of the SMART Salym tax procedures fiscalization project and was created in order to automate the procedures of goods accounting in trade with EAEU member states, as well as to combat the illegal movement of goods. The use of the automated system has accelerated the process of recording goods and vehicles at internal borders, will improve the quality and ensure data exchange between the state bodies concerned," he explained.

"A system to remotely obtain a certificate for import of goods from EAEU countries through a personal account of the taxpayer on the website of the State Tax Service has been developed and is successfully working. A system for issuing a certificate in electronic form on tax registration has been implemented since Oct. 1, 2020. In 2021 the Tax Service continues to work on transferring other types of certificates to electronic format", added Ilyaz Imanbetov.
