Bishkek, June 27, 2018. / Kabar /. 11 people were hospitalized in Jalal-Abad oblast with suspicion to Siberian anthrax, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
Among the patients are three women and eight men.
"Infectionists have confirmed the clinical diagnosis, samples have been taken for laboratory tests. The hospitalized people eat meat, but the exact diagnosis will be established by a laboratory study. The condition of the hospitalized is regarded as satisfactory. They receive the necessary treatment," the report said.
All the infected with anthrax participated in the slaughter of livestock, the press service said.
