126 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2021. / Kabar /. 126 new cases were reported in Kyrgyzstan on Sunday, bringing the total to 176,473.

A total of 170,523 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 127 were discharged during the past 24 hours.

The headquarters also reported 4 new deaths, raising the death toll from the infectious virus to 2,550.

875 of the active cases are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,072 patients are being treated at home, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29 using China-donated vaccine. To date, a total of 700,024 people have received their first vaccine shots against COVID-19, while 479,040 have taken two doses.
