Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. In connection with a possible second wave of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, 14 health-care facilities across the country are under construction and repair and restoration works, Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Kyrgyz Government Urmatbek Kokocharov told a briefing Friday.
The following works are being carried out: construction of 2 objects at the expense of the republican budget under the “Capital Investments” article ( oblast hospital in Dzhalal-Abad town and hospital in Chaichi village of Kara-Su region of Osh Oblast); construction of 3 experimental quickly erected infectious diseases hospitals in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Naryn town and capital repair of 9 objects at the expense of Fund for Social Partnership for the Development of Regions.
"Funding for a total of KGS 206 million is open for all facilities, including the republican budget - KGS 21 million and the Fund for Social Partnership for the Development of Regions – KGS 185 million (funding began on Aug. 19, 2020)," the director concluded.
