14 new enterprises opened in Issyk-Kul since beginning of year

Bishkek, Aug.14, 2019. /Kabar/. 14 new enterprises have been opened in Issyk-Kul Oblast for 6 months, Governor of Issyk-Kul Oblast Akylbek Osmonaliyev said during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

Among them are a poultry farm, an agricultural processing plant, felt production, etc.

“Since the beginning of the year, 130 new jobs have been created. We also plan to open a meat processing plant with the support of businessman Askar Salymbekov. In addition, we plan to grant a loan to businessmen from the Regional Development Fund financially supported by Kumtor gold mine,” the governor stressed.

He also added people’s funds for villages’ development have been established in 78 villages of the oblast.

There are 174 villages and 61 local self-government bodies in Issyk-Kul.

“According to the results of 6 months, the people's funds received KGS 76 million. These funds will be used to help low-income families, and they also are used to solve the problems of the villages,” said Osmonaliyev.

He also noted that contributions to the funds are made by natives, businessmen of Issyk-Kul Oblast, as well as compatriots from abroad.
