14 new health facilities built in Batken Oblast last year

Osh, Feb. 18, 2021. / Kabar /. Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan summed up the results of socio-economic development of the region for 2020.

According to the results of the year, the volume of industrial production amounted to KGS 3 billion 074.6 million, the growth rate of the physical volume amounted to 125.3% and the volume of market services amounted to KGS 17 billion 772.1 million. In 2020 4,506 new workplaces were created across the oblast.

In 2020, 14 new health facilities were built in Batken Oblast, 24 ambulances were handed over. More than 76 thousand people were vaccinated against influenza. As part of the digitalization of the healthcare system, online queue and online registration services were launched.

Electronic libraries were installed in 22 schools of the oblast. Video surveillance cameras were installed in 168 schools to ensure the safety of children, and 98% of schools in Batken Oblast have Internet access.
