Bishkek, March 23, 2020./Kabar/.Fourteen sanitary- quarantine stations (SQS) will be established in seven oblasts of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said.
SQS involving employees of the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Internal Affairs, Health , as well as local authorities will operate 24 hours a day, in two shifts.
From March 22, Kyrgyzstan introduced an emergency regime due to novel coronavirus infection.
A total of 14 positive cases of COVID-19 (6 men, 8 women) were registered in the republic:
- in Batken region - 1 case;
- in Suzak region - 8 cases;
- in Nookat region - 3 cases;
- in Bishkek city - 2 cases.
Patients aged between 25 and 80 years receive appropriate treatment.
In total, 2628 people have been identified as contact persons.
Anti-epidemiological and prophylactic measures are continue to be taken in sites of infection.
