Bishkek, April 27, 2021. / Kabar /. 14 schools and 2 kindergartens have been quarantined in Bishkek due to detected cases of COVID-19 among students and teaching staff, Elmira Imanalieva, head of the education department of the Bishkek Mayor's Office told at a briefing.
She said that currently 70 COVID-19cases have been identified among students and 31 cases among teachers.
“In total, 14 schools have been closed for quarantine in the capital today due to COVID-19. In addition, 2 municipal kindergartens were also quarantined in Bishkek due to 5 detected cases of COVID-19 among kindergarten workers,” she said.
"Also, a preparatory group of one kindergarten has been sent to quarantine for 2 weeks," said Imanalieva.
