14.6 thsd citizens provide services of personal assistants in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec.23, 2024. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 14 thousand 673 citizens provide services of personal assistant, the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Development and Migration of the country reported.

Thus, as of Dec.1, 2024, 14 thousand 976 people in Kyrgyzstan receive the “Personal Assistant” service, of which 9 thousand 504 - children, 5 thousand 472 - persons with disabilities over 18 years old.

“From July 1 of this year, payment for the services of personal assistants was increased from KGS 6 thousand 268 to KGS 7 thousand 681. The introduction of this service will allow persons who are unable to work to have the right to pension provision upon reaching retirement age,” the report says.
