14.8 thsd passenger cars brought to Kyrgyzstan in January-February

Bishkek, April 18, 2023. /Kabar/. In January-February of this year, 14,885 cars from 39 countries were brought to Kyrgyzstan. Such data are given in the bulletins of the National Statistical Committee on foreign and mutual trade.

The largest number of cars arrived from the Republic of Korea (5093 units - 34%). In second place is Georgia (2629 units - 18%). More than 1,000 cars were brought from Russia, China and the USA (from each country). Less than 1,000 units imported from other countries.

The total cost of all imported cars amounted to 197 million 683.4 thousand US dollars. Compared to January-February last year, the volume of imports of passenger cars increased by 2.6 times.
