143 children being treated in hospitals with COVID-19 in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 6, 2021. / Kabar /. 143 children are being treated in hospitals in Bishkek with coronavirus infection.

According to data of the Ministry of Health, to date, viral infection and pneumonia of unspecified etiology among children is declining.

An average of 60 to 80 children turn to the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and the 3rd Children's Hospital, of which 10-15 are hospitalized, the rest are provided outpatient care, 80% are city children.

Of the children who apply, 10-15 (90% of cases) are hospitalized with pneumonia. Today, there are 90 children in the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, and 53 children in the the 3rd Children's Hospital. Nevertheless, we urge parents to be vigilant and comply with all sanitary and hygienic standards.
