Bishkek, Feb.25, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, due to the threat of novel coronavirus infection, 146 people are being examined, and 531 people are under medical surveillance at their place of residence, Baktygul Ismailova, Head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
She noted these are the people who came from China and third countries with epidemiological instability in connection with the outbreak of the new coronavirus.
"At 22 sanitary-epidemiological stations, we are conducting a survey of those who have arrived, where we fill out a questionnaire and conduct a survey. Those that are decided to be released under surveillance at their place of residence, receive memo with demand to observe the rules of precaution, not to leave the place of residence, not to visit relatives and be in constant access for doctors," said Ismailova.
According to data of the department head, , the number of test systems to determine the new coronavirus is sufficient.
"Test systems were obtained from Russia and Turkey under mutual agreements," Ismailova explained.
She noted as of today there are no registered cases of new type of coronavirus in the country and the epidemiological situation in the republic is stable.
