15 children with pathologies from Kyrgyzstan were adopted by US citizens from beginning of 2018

Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2018. / Kabar/. 15 children with various pathologies from Kyrgyzstan have been adopted by US citizens since the beginning of 2018.

Gulzina Bobekova, the main specialist in the protection of family and children's rights of the Ministry of Social Development, told Kabar Agency that in the first half of 2018, 351 children were adopted by Kyrgyz citizens.

"Priority is given to national adoption according to our legislation. Therefore, those children who are not adopted by our citizens, they go to international adoption. Children who were adopted by foreign citizens are children with pathologies," said Bobekova.
