Bishkek, Mar. 12, 2019. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 15 projects of public-private partnership (PPP) in various sectors of the economy are at the stage of active implementation, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Avtandil Alybayev told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He said that these projects are in the sectors of health care, development of the city, sports and tourism, transport, customs logistics and culture.
“In 2018, within the framework of the PPP, investment projects for a total amount of more than $ 12 million were implemented. In order to simplify the procedures and reduce the time needed to prepare draft PPPs, a new version of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on PPP has been developed. At present, the draft law is being considered in the relevant committee of the parliament,” Alybayev said.
Alybayev also noted that for the purposes of providing state support to business entities and individuals for the timely implementation of agricultural work in 2019 and further development of the production of export-oriented agricultural products, food processing industry and agricultural cooperation, the Program of Agriculture-7 has been approved.
