Bishkek, Dec.3, 2019. /Kabar/. Fifteen schools in Kyrgyzstan will be built at the expense of money from fight against corruption, Erkin Abdyrazakov, head of the Chui Oblast Capital Construction Department told reporters.
He said seven schools will be built in Chui Oblast, seven in Bishkek and one in Osh.
"Construction of additional schools in Chui Oblast and Bishkek is planned because the schools are overcrowded. President familiarized with the situation and solved the problems on the ground, instructing to allocate funds from the Single Deposit Account for the fight against corruption,” Abdyrazakov said.
He noted construction has started in 7 schools and KGS 15 million have been allocated for designing. "Active construction is already underway at two facilities, for which KGS 40 million have been allocated," the official added.
In July this year, KGS 799.3 million has been allocated for the construction of 15 schools and additional school buildings in Chui Oblast, Bishkek and Osh cities for 2019. Funds were allocated from the Single Deposit Account for the fight against corruption.
Since July 2019, funding for the construction of schools was opened through the Single Deposit Account. The first tranche has made KGS 15 million.
