154 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 4, 2021. / Kabar /. 154 new cases were reported in Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, bringing the total to 176,347.

A total of 170,396 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 135 were discharged during the past 24 hours.

The headquarters also reported 5 new deaths, raising the death toll from the infectious virus to 2,546.

918 of the active cases are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,035 patients are being treated at home, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29 using China-donated vaccine. To date, a total of 696,707 people have received their first vaccine shots against COVID-19, while 472,995 have taken two doses.
