Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2021. / Kabar /. 16,747 people received the COVID-19 vaccine in Kyrgyzstan over the past day, according to the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19.
According to data of the HQ, 4,375 people were vaccinated with the first dose, and 12,372 people were vaccinated with the second.
In total, 634,671 people were vaccinated in the republic with the first dose, and 352, 400 people were vaccinated with the second dose.
Kyrgyzstan started nationwide vaccination campaign on March 29 with China donated Sinopharm vaccine, later the country started vaccination with the Russian Sputnik-V and Astra Zeneca vaccines, which were delivered as humanitarian aid.
