Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2020 / Kabar /. According to operational data, 16 victims of the rally were hospitalized in Bishkek, the Health Ministry told Kabar.
According to operational data, as of 22.00, 4 victims with various injuries were hospitalized to the Bishkek Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics through the Emergency Medicine Center.
10 victims were taken to the National Hospital under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic through the ambulance line.
2 injured were delivered to the City Clinical Hospital No. 1.
“The nature of the injuries is being specified,” the ministry said.
The protest action against the results of the parliamentary elections has begun today on the central square of Bishkek at about 12 a.m. local time. The participants of the action - the leaders of the losing parties demanded to annul the voting results of the parliamentary elections.
The protest action resulted in clashes between security officers and protesters.
The police used tear gas, flash grenades, rubber bullets and a water cannon to disperse the protesters.
