Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, another 159 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have recovered in the past day, Health Minister of the republic Sabirzhan Abdikarimov told during a briefing at Kabar News Agency.
Thus, a total of 43, 957 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the virus.
The country reported 245 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, raising the nationwide tally to 48,342.
According to Minister Abdikarimov, there are 1,366 COVID-19 patients being treated in hospitals at present and 1,491 people are receiving treatment at home.
In addition, 4 new deaths were registered over the past day, taking the virus-related death tally to 1,073.
