165 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan on Friday reported 165 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases after health authorities conducted 1,514 tests within a day, bringing the number of total cases to 81,991.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 4,141 cases out of the total number of infected are medical workers, including 3,983 recoveries.

171 more recoveries and two more deaths were registered over the past day, taking the counts to 77,547 and 1,365 respectively, the headquarters said.

887 patients are being treated in hospitals throughout the country and 1,266 patients receiving treatment at home.
