17,099 citizens vote outside polling stations

Bishkek, April 11, 2021. / Kabar /. 17 thousand 99 citizens voted outside the polling stations, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan said.

Absentee voting took place on Saturday. 19 thousand 298 requests were received for absentee voting in the elections of deputies of local councils and the constitutional referendum of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The voter list for absentee voting included voters who, due to health or disability, cannot come to the polling station to vote, as well as voters who are in hospitals, in places of detention, voters who temporarily reside in places located in remote and hard-to-reach areas, in areas of distant-pasture animal husbandry.

Of those included in the list for voting outside the premises, 17,099 voters actually voted.
