17 more people cured of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 13, 2020. /Kabar/. In the past day, 17 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have been discharged from hospitals throughout the country, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbayev said during a news briefing.

According to him, in Bishkek 10 people have cured, 1 in Naryn Oblast, 2 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast and 4 people in Batken Oblast.

"All their repeated tests showed negative results. A total of 726 citizens across the country have cured of COVID-19; all of them have been sent home", Usenbayev said.

Kyrgyzstan reported 7 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its total number to 1,044.

Currently, 306 patients are being treated in hospitals across the country, six of whom need intensive care.

12 have died.
