17 parties to run in repeat Bishkek City Council elections

Bishkek, June 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . 17 political parties submitted documents to take part in the repeat elections to the Bishkek City Council.

The Central Elections Commission of Kyrgyzstan reported that as of today, following 17 political parties submitted documents to the Bishkek City Council for registration of the list of candidates:

- Ata-Jut Kyrgyzstan;

- Emgek;

- Turan Political Party;

- Kelechek-Budushcheye;

- Reforma;

- Onuguu-Progress;

- Bizdin Kygryzstan;

- Bizdin El;

- Stolitsa Democratic Party;

- Zamandash;

- Yntymak;

- Strength in Unity Social-Democratic Party;

- Zhany-Mezgil;

- Social Democraty;

- Ishenim;

- Uluu-Zhurt;

- Green Part of Kyrgyzstan.

The Bishkek City Council elections, held on April 11,l were declared invalid due to vote buying. Repeat elections are scheduled for July 11.
