Bishkek, Apr. 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Today 178 Kyrgyz citizens have arrived in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek on Dubai-Bishkek route, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
Earlier, the issue on organization of charter flights for return of Kyrgyz citizens was worked out with aviation authorities of the United Arab Emirates.
"This issue was resolved in pursuance of the instruction of Kyrgyz President in the framework of the ongoing work on the return of compatriots from foreign countries," the report says.
Due to the suspension of international passenger air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and UAE, because of spread of coronavirus pandemic, regular flights on the above route were temporarily canceled.
A preliminary agreement was also reached with the Emirati side on the organization of additional flights for the removal of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from the UAE on May 3 and 10, 2020.
