Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s tally of COVID-19 cases reached 42,889 on Saturday with 186 new cases reported in the last day.
The republican headquarters on COVID-19 reported that 13 of the new cases are medical workers. The total number of contracted medical workers in the country makes 3,086, including 2,384 recoveries.
225 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals over the past day, increasing the total recoveries to 36,056.
The death toll stands at 1055, no new deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.
