Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2023. /Kabar/. As of October 2, a total of 2,469 cases of measles were registered in Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Center for Health Promotion reported.
According to data of the center, as part of the supplementary immunization campaign against measles and rubella, which took place in the country from September 18 to 29, 440,343 children were vaccinated, which amounted to 76% of the target group from 9 months to 7 years inclusive, regardless of vaccination status and previously suffered measles and rubella.
The vaccination continues. The vaccination can be obtained free of charge at temporary vaccination points in schools and preschool educational institutions.
