2,500 people suffer, 45 citizens die in car accidents in Bishkek in 9 months

Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2021 / Kabar /. 1,932 road accidents have been registered in Bishkek since the beginning of 2021

According to data of the press service of the Patrol Militia, 2,470 people were injured in accidents and 45 people died.

About 80-90% of these accidents are caused by drivers' non-observance of traffic rules, the report said.

The Patrol Militia of Bishkek urges drivers to strictly observe the rules of the road: “We live once. Do not hurry!"

Many accidents are caused by drivers who do not know the traffic rules or are distracted by the phone, music or driving while intoxicated, the report said.

To prevent these traffic accidents, the police patrol service conducts various raids, actions for teenagers, propaganda, contests, analyzing the causes of traffic accidents.

The Patrol Militia of Bishkek called on to strictly follow the traffic rules for the safety.
