2 coronavirus-related deaths registered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Apr. 20, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, two patients with confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection died past day, Nurbolot Usenbayev, Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Minister of Health said at a news briefing

According to him, both of them applied late for medical help.

"They also had comorbidities. Women over 70 years old in Chui Oblast and 79-year-old resident of Osh city died," Usenbayev added.

They were both in intensive care in serious condition.

Thus, death toll from coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan has reached 7.

As of Apr. 20, 14 more cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, taking the total to 568.

140 of them are medical workers.

201 patients have recovered and been discharged home across the country.
