Bishkek, Apr.9, 2020./Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, two other medical workers were infected with COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karatayev said at a news briefing.
Thus, a total of 34 medics in the country have been infected.
"As of today, the tests have been taken from 20 thousand 901 people, of which 15 thousand 107 have been studied.
Also in the country, the number of first category contacts (family members) is 1 thousand 858 people, while the number of second category people (other) who had been contacted with COVID-19 infected is 5 thousand 210 people," the deputy health minister said.
As of today, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were revealed in the republic, bringing the total to 280.
25 people have recovered and discharged from hospital. Four have died.
