Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2021. /Kabar/. In December 2020, the number of people infected with coronavirus infections in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 2.7% compared to November, the National Statistics Committee of the republic said.
According to the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, about 14 thousand laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed cases of COVID-19 was registered throughout the country in December 2020.
During the period under review, a decrease in cases of coronavirus infection compared to November was observed in all regions of the republic, except for Chui Oblast, where the number increased by almost 3 times, accounting for more than half (56%) of the total number of registered cases.
The number of diseases per 100 thousand people in December of last year decreased by 2.7% compared to November, whereas in comparison with October there was increase by 5%.
