Bishkek, Dec. 5, 2024. /Kabar/. 2,732 fires were recorded in Kyrgyzstan in the first 11 months of this year, with material damage amounting to KGS 688 million 410 thousand.
The press service of the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 34 people died in the fires, including 6 children, and 22 people were injured.
For comparison, 3,174 fires were registered in the same period of last year, with damage amounting to almost KGS 1.3 billion. Last year, fires took lives of 33 people, injuring 29.
