Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022. / Kabar /. 19, 283 foreign forms of permits for international road transport were issued to domestic road carriers in 12 months of 2021, of which: legal entities – 16,878 units and individuals – 2,405 units (at the same time, the ratio of issued permit forms: 87.5% - to legal entities, 12.5% to individuals), the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan reported.
As the analysis shows, most of the foreign forms of permits are issued to legal entities.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to protect the interests of Kyrgyz road carriers and create favorable conditions in the international market of road transport services, for the development of trade and economic cooperation with foreign states, on the basis of bilateral intergovernmental agreements and agreements between the ministry and the competent authorities of foreign states, annually exchanges foreign permit forms with 41 states.
As of Feb. 1, 2022, the Department of Automobile, Water Transport and Weight Control received foreign permit forms from 29 states in the amount of 18,155 units. Also, according to the agreements reached with the competent state body of the People's Republic of China, the terms of the Chinese permit forms of the 2020 sample were extended for the period until December 31, 2022, in the amount of 23,639 units. At present, about 90% of the total number of permit forms have been received and they are being issued to road carriers.
