Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers-Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev noted that this year there has been growth in all sectors of the economy.
He provided information that growth in agriculture for 11 months of this year amounted to 6.2%, in industry - 4.8%, in the construction industry - 36%, and in trade and services the increase exceeded 7%.
The agriculture minister added that by the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast, more than 100 enterprises had opened and were operating. More than 100 new production facilities are planned for construction in 2025.
“The construction of the customs and logistics center opening today is not just a logistics complex. It is the first project of international level in Kyrgyzstan. Products from this center will be delivered to the United States and the world market. We hope that our domestic goods will be able to reach the international level,” Torobaev said.
He also stressed that there are plans to build 20 such logistics centers throughout Kyrgyzstan.
