Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2018. /Kabar/. 200 children with disabilities in Jalal-Abad oblast treceived aid, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan reported.

As reported, the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan, together with its partner, the Swiss Red Cross, initiated a charity campaign within which the most needy families in the country will be able to buy food, medicines, hygiene products, clothes and other goods to choose from.

The campaign started in Jalal-Abad oblast on December 3, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. aid was provided to more than 200 families living in remote areas of the oblast. Until the end of 2018, it is planned to provide assistance to about 1,500 families across the country. Lists of beneficiaries are compiled in collaboration with local governments and social development departments.

"Thanks to the participation of the Kyrgyz Pochtasy State Enterprise, we will be able to use the tools of the cash aid program in the humanitarian sector and reach the most distant cities and villages of the Kyrgyz Republic," the report says.
