Bishkek, July 25, 2024 . / Kabar / . The 22nd meeting of Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states has begun at the Ala-Archa state residence.
The event is attended by prosecutors general of the SCO member states, as well as heads of the SCO Secretariat, the SCO regional anti-terrorist structure and the International Association of Prosecutors.
During the meeting, presentations and reports will be made by prosecutors general of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus, as well as the heads of the SCO secretariat and the SCO regional anti-terrorist structure.
The session is dedicated to "The Role of Prosecutor's Offices in the Modern World and the Age of Digitalization: Experience of the SCO Countries in Countering New Threats and Ensuring Human Rights".
The participants will discuss best practices and share experience in countering modern threats faced by SCO member states, as well as develop joint strategies to ensure human rights in the context of digitalization.
This year's meeting is chaired by Kyrgyzstan, which emphasizes the country's central role in addressing pressing issues and challenges facing the countries of the region.
