221 more coronavirus patients recovered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, another 221 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have cured in the past day.

According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, a total of 45,509 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered from novel coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.

Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 470 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 51,490.

5 new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, in total the pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,108 people in Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, 2,353 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,049 patients - at home.
