23 people arriving from Russia to be placed under observation in Osh Oblast

Bishkek, Apr. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. 23 people who arrived from Russia will be placed under observation in Osh Oblast, Deputy Health Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mademin Karatayev told a news briefing.

He noted the observation is deployed in Kochkor-Ata hospital in the Kashkar-Kyshtak village.

"I would like to clarify that after their arrival, PCR tests were taken from them in Bishkek, and only then citizens have been distributed by regions," he said.

As of 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 21, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has reached 590, including 147 cases among medical workers.

A total of 216 citizens have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

12 patients in hospitals are in severe condition, 5 of them are in intensive care.

Death toll from COVID-19 has reached 7.
