230 new coronavirus cases detected in Uzbekistan in past 24 hours

Tashkent, June 26, 2020. /Kabar/. In the past day, Uzbekistan confirmed 230 new cases of coronavirus, raising the total to 7,228.

According to the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry, 202 people throughout the republic have recovered from coronavirus, 1 death was registered.

Uzbekistan has extended quarantine until Aug.1, and restrictions and rules on quarantine measures are in force in all regions. Since June 1, a number of activities have been allowed, depending on quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low).

Passengers coming from countries with poor sanitary and epidemiological situation were allowed to quarantine the hotel at their own expense. Private clinics were allowed to conduct coronavirus tests.

In Uzbekistan, a total of 4,877 people have cured of COVID-19, 20 patients have passed away.

2,331 patients are undergoing treatment, 19 of them are in serious condition, and condition of 7 of them assessed as extremely serious.
