Bishkek, May 10, 2020 / Kabar/. In total 232 medical workers have been infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection.
176 of them have recovered and the most of them already started working, Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbolot Usenbaev said at a news briefing.
As of May 10 morning one more medical worker's test was positive for COVID-19.
The deputy minister said that the only case is registered in Bishkek.
Besides, 10 medical workers were discharged from the hospitals of the republic in the last 24 hours, he said.
On Sunday 71 new cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, making the total number 1002 cases.
675 citizens have been recovered and discharged from hospitals. Twelve have passed away.
