237 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 237 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 172,327.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 469 more patients recovered over the past day, raising the total recoveries in the country to 163,249.

The headquarters also reported 5 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,451.

Currently, 2,101 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,112 patients - at home.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29. In total, 586,578 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the country.
