Bishkek, April 14, 2022. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev, as part of a working trip to Moscow (Russian Federation), took part in the 23rd meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation, the press service of the Cabinet said.
During the meeting, the sides held thorough negotiations on the entire range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as outlined plans for further development and deepening of the strategic partnership, building an effective dialogue in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust.
Much attention was paid to issues of trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, interregional cooperation, as well as the implementation of previously reached agreements.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission is not only a platform for promoting and intensifying intergovernmental cooperation, but also provides an opportunity to establish and expand business contacts.
“The Russian Federation is attractive for us in terms of supplies of industrial goods, fuel and energy resources, medical, pharmaceutical and chemical products, timber, machinery and equipment, veterinary drugs, as well as new technologies,” Arzybek Kozhoshev emphasized.
He added that the Kyrgyz side welcomes the decision of the Russian side to lift restrictions on regular flights with the Kyrgyz Republic.
“I am sure that today's meeting will give a new impetus to our relations and the decisions of the Commission will be constructive and constructive for the benefit of the interests of our peoples,” Arzybek Kozhoshev concluded.
