Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020. /Kabar/. 24 thousand 472 citizens of Kyrgyzstan voted in advance in the Jogorku Kenesh elections, Deputy Chairman of the country’s Central Commission of the Elections and Referendum Abdyzhapar Bekmatov said during a press conference.

A total of 29 thousand 320 people who are under observation, voters with symptoms of disease and contacts with patients applied in advance. He specified that citizens, who are not able to come to the elections, vote at home.

24 thousand 472 citizens voted on Oct. 3.

Bekmatov also noted that citizens who have symptoms of illness, including coronavirus, will be able to come to vote after 6:00 p.m. today.

The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan has started on Sunday morning. 16 parties participate in the election race.
